Gardening Project

Are you interested in Gardening?

Would you like to be involved in an exciting new project?

We are currently looking for Volunteers who have a passion for growing fruit & vegatables, who enjoy the outdoors and enjoy helping others.

Colne Open Door Centre now has an allotment, situated on Intake Allotments, off Castle Road, Colne. It is set in a beautiful, quiet, peaceful location, where people can relax and enjoy the fresh air and help grow fruit & vegatables for themseves and for the Open Door Cafe.

The idea is to help some of our clients gain confidence and acquire practical skills that can be used in employment, under the guidence of our trained staff.

All volunteers meet there every Friday from 9.30am - 1.30pm. If you have nothing else better to do on a Friday morning, just turn up! Everyone is welcome! Nick and Simon will be there to help and support you. Please see poster for more details.

If you can help us to run the allotment or if you think that you could benefit from the project - Ring Nick Alderson on 07903 516 225.
